Explore the journey of Oakey's Sweetery and its delicious treats.

I discovered my passion for baking when I was just a young teenager. At the tender age of 12 or 13, I would spend hours creating heart-shaped cakes and vibrant, colorful creations in the kitchen. Although my skills were far from perfect, I always found pure joy in the process. This passion only grew stronger as I entered high school, where I would bake treats for my classmates, teachers, and family members. After graduation, I decided to pursue my dreams further and enrolled in the Baking and Pastry Arts program at Kendall College in Chicago. The experience was absolutely incredible, as I had the opportunity to work alongside talented chefs and classmates who shared the same love for baking. As the years passed, I held various jobs, but my passion for baking remained unwavering. Now, I am thrilled to be running my own home-based bakery named after my daughter and I, serving Greenwood, IN area and the surrounding cities. I am grateful every day to be able to do what I love.

The pleasure of seeing someone's eyes light up and their faces brighten as they savor every bite is truly the most rewarding part of my work. I pour my heart and soul into every pastry I create, ensuring that each bite is a moment of pure bliss for all who enjoy them.
